Adobe Acrobat
- Go to Adobe's Acrobat Reader Download page.
- Complete the short form to indicate your language, operating platform, and location (Step 1), and the optional information (Step 2) if you wish.
- Click the "download" button to begin the download. Select the "save as" option and save the file to your local drive in a location where you will be able to find it. Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 (ar500enu.exe) is an 8.6Mb file, wish could take up to 28 minutes to download at 56k.
- Once you have downloaded the file, double click it to run the file and follow the minimal setup process.
- PDF documents can now be opened by double clicking on them, or by clicking on any pdf link on a web page.
